Revitalising Local Hospitality Venues Grant Program

Tasmanian hospitality venues have received another major boost as momentum continues to build within the industry after two years of dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic.

Confidence is returning across the sector following the easing of restrictions in recent months and the State Government’s announcement of a new Revitalising Local Hospitality Venues Grant Program will further turbocharge the recovery.

The $5000 grants to eligible businesses across the state to help deliver projects, purchase equipment that will build capacity, assist with Covid-19 recovery or help improve productivity will be welcomed by many operators as they prepare for what will hopefully be a bumper 2022-23 summer.

“The state government has provided enormous ongoing support throughout the past two years – support which kept many businesses afloat during the height of the pandemic when our borders were closed,” Tasmanian Hospitality Association CEO Steve Old said.

“This latest grant program is another testament to the Government’s understanding of the importance of the hospitality sector to Tasmania as a whole, and we are extremely thankful they continue to listen to our concerns and issues and, more importantly, work with us to find the best way to fully assist the recovery.”
